Quite surprised considering the company of great design firms and some of the best logo designers were on the same playing field, but I am very grateful for the having the recognition and winning the WOLDA award for logo design, representing my great nation, Canada. There were many other talented winners from all over the world and many others that were deserving of the honour but for reasons unbeknownst to me, did not make it through the rungs of judging criteria. Some of my personal favourites were amongst the ones not chosen for publication.

Having said that, it was another great surprise to receive a FedEx package the other day with the book itself along with award certificates (to show my parents that I don't 'make computers' for a living and have left my position as a 'typing specialist'...job titles given to me by them).
